Italy - The Guratto family
Flavio & Karen first came to Bookham in the early 2000s from our Brazilian connection,
Sal da Terra church, working especially in Cobham.
They built good friendships and support, which meant we were
able to share in sending them in 2008 to Italy, from where Flavio’s ancestors came.
The call to Italy is a continuation of their call to bless the church's spiritual fathers.
Flavio calls Europe “the most influential, least evangelised,
most resistant, mega population on earth.”
They are building a small church community in their home,
living for Jesus in school, sport, work and art.
Their children, Pedro Paulo and Ana Carolina, are in local State schools,
facing giants of the culture.
